E-64 Memory

Maximum memory = 64MB.

The E-64 has four slots available.

The E-64 takes 30-pin standard SIMM cards.
SIMM Speed = 60nS
The SIMMs can be parity or non-parity (but do not mix types!)

E-64 supports 1MB, 4MB, or 16MB SIMMs.

THE E-64 DOES NOT SUPPORT 8MB SIMMs!

The SIMMs must be mounted in equally sized pairs - in fact, they should be matched in every respect - size, parity, and speed.

So...

4x16MB = 64MB (maximum configuration)

ESI-32 Memory

Standard memory = 2MB.
Maximum memory = 32MB.

The ESI-32 has 2 SIMM slots.

The ESI-32 takes 30-pin standard SIMM cards.
SIMM Speed = 60nS
The SIMMs can be parity or non-parity (but do not mix types!)

ESI-32 supports 1MB, 4MB, 8MB, or 16MB SIMMs.

They must be an equally sized pair - in fact, they should be a matched pair in every respect - size, parity, and speed.

So...

2x1MB = 2MB (shipping configuration)
2x16MB = 32MB (maximum configuration)

Time to start...

For all the users of all the old Emu hardware out there, I'm going to try and slowly gather information here and upload it.

It may be useful to some people, and I'm intending to tag by product to allow you to easily get the information on a particular unit - so get subscribed, and hopefully this will lead somewhere useful.
